Car and van tyres
With or without rims.
Tyre disposal · Ipswich and Suffolk
Collection of car, van, 4x4, lorry and agricultural tyres from homes, garages, farms and businesses, sent for recycling and recovery.
Tyres are banned from landfill in the UK, so they cannot go in a skip or household bin. They have to be collected by a registered carrier and sent to a facility that recycles them into crumb rubber, sports surfaces and other products, or recovers energy from them.
We collect tyres from homes, garages, tyre fitters, fleet operators and farms around Ipswich and across Suffolk. For farms, that includes old silage clamp tyres, which can build up over years and are a common problem when land changes hands.
Fly-tipped tyres are a regular issue on farmland and industrial estates. We clear dumped tyres too, with photo reports for landowners and insurers.

All sizes.
From fleets and hauliers.
Tractor tyres and old silage clamp tyres.
Collected alongside other waste.
Cleared from private land. See fly-tipping removal.
Whole and shredded tyres have been banned from landfill since 2006. They are bulky, trap gases and can rise through landfill sites over time.
Large stockpiles of tyres are a fire risk and may need an environmental permit or exemption. If tyres are building up on your site, arrange regular collections.
Garages and businesses must use a registered carrier and keep waste transfer notes. We provide these with every collection.
Tyres used to weigh down silage clamps can be removed in bulk. They are often full of water and soil, so we plan collections to suit.
Photos and a description help us plan safe handling.
